Determining the Correct Work Environment

There have been many different approaches to business work environments through the decades. While management styles have evolved -- from top down management to bottom up and collaborative cross department cultures-- so too has the work environments themselves changed.

Character Matters

You might think, character matters, duh, I know that. The question is how and when. When you hire an employee, take on a partner, join a partnership, create a collaboration or affilation, what are the key things to look for. Many people say focus on talent. Others experience. I myself always looked for cognative learning ability. And we were all wrong! Pay attention before you 'accidentally' get pushed off the cliff and left as road-kill.
