I've been an entrepreneur all my life, with extreme highs and extreme lows. This blog deals with aspects of that journey; mistakes I've made, things I got right, and what I've learned along the way.

How Close Are We To a Moneyless World?
Maybe not as far off as you thought. Many of you may or may not have seen the news that Prime Minister Modi (India) last week shut the bank ATMs, and announced that all 500 and 1000 notes could no longer be used -- accepted nor given -- in any business (effective at midnight that day) and that those notes would be voided on December 31, 2016.

Should you Grow Your Business?
In the article I wrote - Growing Your Business Effectively -- for Entrepreneur Magazine about how to grow your business, I also delve into 'whether you should grow your business.' As I wrote in Get Stuff Done, many startups strategize right out of business because they don’t get stuff done. I say,
"Launching a business and turning it into a revenue-generating enterprise is daunting. Becoming self-sustaining and profitable all the more so. However, that is just the warm-up drill; the real chore is stabilizing, managing, and growing that business in an ever-changing world."

Design you Time, Instead of Managing it
For many of us, work can feel like a never-ending cycle of long meetings, overflowing inboxes, and urgent demands. No matter how fast we go or how hard we work, there’s far more to do every day than there is time to do it.
That's a recipe for burnout, and it's one that many time management strategies aren't always cut out for avoiding. Sometimes that's because "managing" time starts from the premise that your workload is going to be what it's going to be, and the best you can do is keep it "manageable." But what if you could design your workday instead? Sure, it's partly just a shift in mind-set—from small-scale tactics to big-picture strategy—but it can be transformative.
The number 1 Success Trait
In a recent article on INC Magazine the columnist suggested that "Truly "successful" people are those who lack the fear of being wrong, and instead embrace it (because "wrong" to them is part of the learning process). Truly "successful" people want to know everything about their craft and the industry they're in, and at the same time never want to say the words "I know everything." That means the discovery process is over--and it is never over."
